The San Pedro family has produced wines according to traditional methods in Laguardia / Biasteri from more than 500 years. It is one of the few old wineries in Laguardia / Biasteri that still processes wine in the town centre, in a building constructed more than 200 years ago and at the depth of about 8 m below street level. These underground installations offer the best conditions for ageing wines, namely, the right temperature and humidity levels (maintained throughout the year), silence and darkness.

* As part of the visit takes place in a cave, about 8 meters below ground level, and as the only means of access is via a staircase, the access of handicapped people is limited. However, to enable them to enjoy the experience, the winery offers the possibility of viewing a video of the cave and enjoying a sampling session at street level.
