Tierra
Agrícola Labastida is a family winery, located in the Jewish quarter of Labastida. The oldest parts of the building date back to the 13th century and, in addition to their great charm, offer excellent conditions for keeping the wines we produce as they offer constant temperature and humidity. The winery has 22 hectares of land distributed in 17 vineyards situated at the foot of the Sierra de Toloño mountain range and very near the river Ebro.
Grape ripening times can vary from one vineyard to another by as much as 15 or 20 days. The winery is a pioneer in the processing and production of small amounts of wine in vertical 225-litre casks. In our vineyards, we only grow native varieties and as a result our wines only taste of Rioja Alavesa: Tempranillo, Graciano, Garnacha, Garnacha Blanca, Malvasía and Viura.
