At LAGA Rioja we believe some places aren't meant to be visited but lived. That's why we created a different way to discover Rioja Alavesa: behind the wheel of a buggy, among vineyards, rural tracks and villages with centuries of history.
Our experiences last 2.5 or 3.5 hours and start in Laguardia, following quiet local roads, farm tracks and authorised rural paths through villages such as Elciego, Navaridas, Villabuena de Álava/Eskuernaga, Samaniego and Leza. We stop at viewpoints and landmarks like the Elciego lookout, with commentary on the landscape, the vineyards and local culture. Every route is led by a professional guide, in automatic buggies that are easy to drive and built to the highest safety standards. This is not a racing activity: it's a conscious, safe way to explore the region, suitable for couples, families, groups of friends and companies.
Afterwards, enjoy a tasting of km 0 local produce —cheese, cured meats, and bread— paired with Rioja Alavesa wine.
