Amaren

In the 1995 harvest, AMAREN (Basque for ‘from the mother’) was established; Juan Luis Cañas' tribute to his mother Ángeles. A woman who dedicated her life to the care of the vineyards and wine, together with her husband Luis Cañas. Jon Cañas, the heir to a long family lineage dedicated to vineyards and wine, leads the technical side of the winery, embodying in his wines his youthful, perfectionist, non-conformist and transgressive personality.
